ηR710 MEMORY CONFIGURATION

Hello ! 

Can someone please assist me on this:

Dell R710 ram issue: 

I have installed 8gb dimms on slots A1 A4 A2 A5 A3 A6 B1 B4 B2 B5 B3 B6

and 4gh dimms on A7 A8 B7 B8 

all of my A slots are MEMBIST FAILURE and are disabled. 

I have tried swapping the B series dimms to A and got the same error. 

Please advise. Many thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the photos. I think the bending of the processor socket is the problem.

    Would you confirm what the specific dimms that are being used is, such as part numbers?

     

    Also, if you start the server with just one type of dimms installed, does it work?

     

    Have you tested it with both types of the mempry installed alone?

    How many CPUs are in the system, and in what sockets?

    Hello all and thanks for coming back to me !

    I ve noticed that some of the pins of CPU1 are bent ! 

    Probably thats the issue with memories for CPU1 ?
