Adding HDD to T610

Hello,

I received 6 new T610 Servers with 3-300 GB  15k HDD in Raid5 configuration with a PERC 6/i SAS Raid controller.   They all have a data volume setup 200GB ea.  Each of the data volumes are maxed out or they will be soon.  For each of the servers, they sent me 3 matching 300GB 300k HDD.  How do I add them and what is the best way to do so?  I am just wanting to add all of the space to the data volume to alleviate the lack of space issue.

looking forward to your responses,

Thank you all in advance

You can add as many drives as you can attach - the PERC will support them and the reconfigure will/can add them all (I just thought you were adding one to each of three servers).

How is your "data volume" set up?  Do you have multiple RAID 5's across the same set of disks, or is it simply Windows partitioning?

If it is just Windows partitioning and you have a single RAID 5, then you can "reconfigure" your 3-disk RAID 5 to a 4-disk RAID 5 in OMSA (OpenManage Server Administrator) ... Storage, PERC, Virtual Disks, Reconfigure from dropdown menu.

This is a single raid5 using windows partitioning.  how many disks can I add into the Raid volume?  Can I add all 3?
