Config error: Sig Pwr 0

Hi, I have GPU RTX 2060 Super in server R750 and using windows server 2019. The server running okay and the GPU also detect and can be used, but only after it boots into windows. during booting up, there is an error (Config Error: Sig Pwr cable 0) which I use to connect the GPU. I check the error is caused by the connector at connector sig pwr cable 0, but I check the connector there is no loose and tightly connected. Below is the picture of cable I used and the connector at motherboard, and also the error

Did you have latest BIOS and iDRAC FW installed? Is the error message goes when you remove the GPGPU? Did you have a rear Backplane on the server?

  • I think the BIOS and FW are up to date as it is brand new. Yeah, when no gpu, there is no error as there is no cable attach at port sig pwr cable 0. And I have only riser that needed 1 cpu, I think riser 3 and 4. but the server already sent to end user

Frojd.

I believe the issue you're seeing is due to the GPU in question not appearing to be supported on the R750, so it would be based on trial and error if it will work.

I was getting the same error with a L40 installed. We were able to get around this error by moving the power connector to SIG_PWR_4.
