Regarding updating, with how far back you are on the BIOS, you will need to walk the BIOS up, along with the iDrac, to current. If you jump to the latest, while that far behind, there may be issues. So go to the previous versions on the update page and do every couple updates or that are marked Urgent After running a BIOS update, run the equivilent idrac update, in order to keep the BIOS and iDrac within range of each other, while walking them up to current.

Joelanicet,
Would you confirm if the server is up to date, specifically on the controller? I ask as the controller, when it gets really far behind, will flag the Virtual Disk as degraded. It does this to get the firmware addressed before it gets to the point of causing an issue.
Let me know what you are currently at for BIOS, iDrac, and raid controller, as well as what model server and controller is being used.
