Difference between H710 and H710 Mini Embedded?

Can someone indicate the differences between the H710 and H710 Mini (embedded)?

They are different form factors of the same controller. There is no H710 mini embedded controller. There is an H710 adapter, H710 mini monolithic, and an H710 mini blades. The daughter board slot that the mini version connects to may sometimes be referred to as an embedded slot.

An online RAID change from RAID5 to RAID6 via OMSA on an R720 with a H710 Mini Embedded controller had a much greater impact on performance than performing the same online RAID change on another R720 which has a H710 Adapter (non Mini Embedded).

Those two cards are identical. Whatever performance difference you are seeing has nothing to do with the difference in form factors of the controllers.
