Disable RAID in 2950
I got a 3*72Gb HDD in a 2950, which is now full in RAID5, How can I remove the RAID from BIOS so I can Have 3 individual drives like c:, d:, e: rather than the 2 drive scenario. I also need to add a 146GB for files.

How do I add HDD in the bios RAID controller. I can only see one virtual drive, not 4.
Or do I need to do something else to individually add the 3 other drives.

Read AT5147's post again...
"Second, you could either delete the RAID 5/6 and create RAID 0s"
After backup, delete the virtual disk, this will give you the individual drives to create raid 0(s) with.
Read the manual, that usually helps.

If this is the case, go back into the PERC bios and make 3 (or 4 if you now have 4 physical harddrives) separate raid 0's; each raid 0 on just a single drive.
Do make sure you have a good backup policy (even more so than when running raid 1, 5, 6 or 10) as a single drive failure would mean the data on that 1 drive is gone.
