"Embedded RAID firmware is not Present"

I have 2 identical Dell PowerEdge 2600 servers and both have embedded PERC 4/Di raid controllers on the motherboard. Both systems were running in a raid 5 configuration until one system went down. Upon troubleshooting the problem with Dell's technical support it was determined that the system board went bad. A replacement board was ordered and installed, however further problems ensued. All in all the following components have been replaced; System memory, raid key, raid memory and battery which now brings me to where I am now. I can now go into setup and activate the raid but upon doing so I keep getting the following error message; Embedded RAID firmware is not present. I cleared NVRAM and re-ran the setup and still no joy. I updated the Bios to A14 which is the latest versioin and upon trying to update the raid firmware, it errors out saying no raid controllers present. Before anyone suggest reseating the PCI Riser card, this system does not have one, the raid controller is built into the motherboard. I opened the other server we have and it does not have any PCI Riser card either. As I said before, both systems were running in a Raid 5 configuration before the system went down. I am at a loss as to what to do now so if anyone can help me solve this problem, I would appreciate it.
