FIEMWARE UPGRADATION
HII everyone.
i am very new on dell servers. acn any one suggest me the procedure to upgrade the firmware of server DELL POWEREDGE T410 as i want to use non-dell hdd.

Ajitpandey,
The easiest way to update the firmware on the server would be to use the Lifecycle Controller. If you hit F10 on startup, then select Platform Update, you can point it to the FTP.DELL.COM site and it will list the available updates. As far as the drive goes, we have several HDD's firmware updates listed, if it isn't then you may need to check with the HDD's manufacturer for the firmware update.
