Installing Win2003 on a 2300 PERC II Disk Read Error

Question

I'm trying to install a fresh Windows Ent Server 2003 on a PowerEdge 2300.

I have upgraded the BIOS to A15.

Upgraded the ESM to 5.22, System Backplane to 5.35,

Upgraded the PERC 2 to FW U.84 BIOS 1.63.

It copys the files then when it reboots I get

"A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

Any advice?

I am having the same problem with my PE 2300, what solution did you come across?

You can only install the OS on a partition that is 8GB max. We actually decided not to use this computer because Win2K3 taxes it to much. But we did get it to work.
