Monitor SATA disk with OMSA
I have an PE R300 with 2 SATA disk (without any controller installed).
With OMSA 6.2 installed (Windows 2003 standard) I can't monitor any disks.
"omreport storag" returns "STORAGE OK - 0 phisical disk, 0 virtual disk".
There is a way to monitor SATA disk with OMSA?
Thanks
Lorenzo

OMSA interfaces with the controller, which then reports what it knows. No controller, no report.

OMSA pulls its reports directly from the BMC. Make sure that the BMC Firmware is up to date. Even with the embedded SATA controller, you should still be able to monitor your drives in OMSA. You may also need to update the firmware on your drives. You can check your firmware versions in OMSA and update them manually or you can boot to the SBUU and apply all the firmware updates from the SUU.

I check with SUU disc and all drivers, firmware and software are updated.
Result is unchanged.
