no usable disk have been found
While installing Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.6 and 6.0 on Dell PowerEdge 730 server, it gives "no usable disk have been found" error. What could be the possible reason?
Raid controller: PERC H730 Mini (Embedded) Firmware version: 25.3.0.0016
Server Firmware: 2.20.20.20
Bios Version:1.3.6

6.4 isn't supported, but you might try the drivers for 6.5+
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/4/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=RFX3H&fileId=3646341357&osCode=RH60&productCode=poweredge-r730&languageCode=en&categoryId=SF
If the above driver doesn't work and you have to use 6.4, then you may want to consider virtualization.
You MUST also configure the disks either as non-RAID or in a RAID array before the OS will see the drives.
