Non Critical Warning

Question

Hi All,

I had a foreign config on one of the disks in a dell power edge server.

I cleared the foreign config and got the raid rebuilt.

Ever since then the both disks are reporting that they are non- critical.

There are also the following errors in the open manage event logs.

Disk found is not supplied by an authorized hardware provider: Physical Disk 0:1:1 Controller 0, Connector 0
Disk found is not supplied by an authorized hardware provider: Physical Disk 0:1:0 Controller 0, Connector 0

Controller event log: PD 01(e0x20/s1) is not a certified drive: Controller 0 (PERC H310 Mini)
Controller event log: PD 00(e0x20/s0) is not a certified drive: Controller 0 (PERC H310 Mini)

The issue i have is the Vendor for these disks is Dell(TM)

I have read that it could be that the Raid controller firmware may be out of date.

Has anyone else seen this kind of error before when the disks are signed by Dell.

Likely the issue is due to the raid controller being out of date. If you specify the server model, as well as the raid controller installed I will provide you with the updates needed. Which is likely the controller, as well as the drives.

I have the same problem with Non Critical Warning after replacing the drives. My controller is a PERC H700 (T610). Can you please give me the drivers for this controller?
