OpenManage Alert: Battery sensor for Storage..
Hi,
since the last few days OpenManage reports a warning that toggle every ~30s:
Storage ROMB Battery: Battery sensor for Storage, failed was deasserted
Storage ROMB Battery: Battery sensor for Storage, failed was asserted
Whats going on here? This fills the log buffer within a view hours. Is this a serious warning and what should I do to cure this? Should a BBU replacement fix it?

As Daniel advised, I would reseat the connection of your battery to the riser. I've seen this issue fixed by simply reseating. And as Daniel advised, since the RAID controller is what manages the battery state, updating the controller firmware would be a logical move. Just make sure you update the system BIOS and ESM/BMC, then RAID driver first.
