Hello, I guess retagging would be a solution for you. In most cases if the current VD didn't initialize then there is a chance to recover VD again. A retag would just mean creating a virtual disk with the identical settings as the previous virtual disk, but when prompted to perform initialization, you have to make sure *not* to do it. (DO NOT initialize) This procedure would be within the PERC configuration menu.(CTRL+R at reboot server) It is good you have hardware PERC because of software RAID doesn't have capability of retagging VD. This method is not guaranteed but it may work.
Hope that helps!

I had tried to recreate the virtual disk, with the SATA mode set to AHCI or Raid. But with no luck. Because the server initially was not setup by me, so got no information for the previous virtual disk. Thanks
