PowerEdge 2950 HDD Comaptibility
Hi Guys, will my poweredge 2950 compatible with the below list of hard disk?

| Dell 600GB 10K RPM SAS 12Gbps 2.5in 3.5in carrier |
| Dell 600GB 15K RPM SAS 12Gbps 2.5in 3.5in Hybrid carrier |
| Dell 2TB 7.2K RPM NLSAS 12Gbps 3.5” |
| Dell 300GB 15K RPM SAS 12Gbps 2.5in Drive 3.5in Hybrid Carrier |

Hi @PoorLad,
Unfortunately, PowerEdge 2950 does not support the drives you listed. PowerEdge 2950 do not support 6Gbps and 12Gbps drives.

None of the listed drives are supported on the 2950, as 6Gbps and 12Gbps drives weren't supported until the 11th and 13th generation Poweredge servers, and the 2950 is a 9th gen.
Let me know if this helps clarify, despite not being the answer you were likely wanting.

Hi, our raid card for 2950 is PERC6/i, not possible to use the above list of HDD?
