PowerEdge R720 16 Bay Backplane split
Hi all i wish to know if i can split 16 bay Backplane in Half
So 8 bays running off H710 mini
and 8 bays running of Pci-e H710 running LSI IT Firmware
No Events found!

Hi,
I don't think that's possible. As the backplane passed the signal to the board on a single point of controller. If 2 controllers are involve, the signal would be lost with no directions.
But if you do have the controllers ready, there is no harm trying out and update us here.
