RAID 1 Hardrive failure question

One of our PowerEdge 1950s appears to have a bad drive.  The display is reading E1810 HD 0 Fault and the drive in question has an amber light blinking rapidly.  The drives are SAS.

These are configured in RAID 1 and the server is still operating normally.  I have not had a chance to troubleshoot this yet as I cannot take the server down at this time.  When I have the chance I will try reseating and rebuilding, running diag., etc.  Anything particular I should try?

If after troubleshooting the drive does turn out to be bad, what is the procedure for replacing with a new drive?  Put new drive in and rebuid? Just want to be sure I don't wipe the array.

Also, one last thing are these drives hot swappable?

Thanks

mac1234,

Run diags first, need to figure out if that HDD is bad first. Then try to rebuild it or replace it.
