RAID Controller type
Hello,
I've just got a poweredge 6300 with no Raid controller. What type of Raid controller hardware is suitable for this system. I am using Redhat 8.0

Hi Ferdinand,
PERC 2 P/N 35NVM with 128 M/B DIMM 1479D Quad channel adaptec LVD controller
PERC 2/SC P/N 8540V with 16 M/B SIMM 3218C Single channel LSI LVD controller
PERC 2/DC P/N 44TXF With 128 M/B DIMM 98GNJ Dual channel LSI LVD controller
There is one more, but it is a U2W technology card and it will not work with the U320 drives you can get these days.
The drivers are available at support.dell.com, log in as a PE6300 and select lennix, and SCSI RAID
