RAID Migration from RAID 0 to RAID 5

Ultimately I want to have a setup in RAID 5, but I currently only have 2 drives. I'm using a Poweredge 730XD with an H730 Mini RAID controller. If I set up my current drives in RAID 0, would I be able to migrate them to RAID 5 once I add an additional drive without losing any data? If not, are there any other setups with only 2 drives that would be able to migrate to RAID 5 without losing data once I add a third drive?

You can migrate to raid 5 from both raid 0 and raid 1. Refer below link for more details

Hi OP,

Along with Shine’s assist, let me add this as well:

RAID Level Migration (RLM) refers to changing a virtual disk’s RAID level. Both RLM and OCE can be done simultaneously so that a virtual disk can simultaneously have its RAID level that is changed and its capacity increased. When an RLM/OCE operation is complete, a reboot is not required. The source RAID level column indicates the virtual disk RAID level before the RLM/OCE operation. The target RAID level column indicates the RAID level after the RLM/OCE operation.
