Replace OS Drive without changing raid virtual disk on R510
I have Dell R510 server with a RAID 6 array setup on the PERC that I use to house all of my data. The OS (Windows Server 2012 R2) runs off of a single SSD. I have a predictive failure flagged on the SSD (OS) drive and was wanting to know the steps to replace the OS drive without changing my data on the RAID 6 (virtual disk). I don't really care about the OS drive contents as it can easily be rebuilt I just don't want to nuke my data on the RAID 6.

Hello
Making changes to the OS drive should not impact the RAID 6 if they are in separate virtual disks. Any changes you would need to make after re-installing the OS would be done in the OS. You would probably need to assign drive letters to the data on the RAID 6 for it to be seen by the OS.
