SBS best practices analyzer tool

    I downloaded and installed this wonderfull little tool from Microsoft,(Microsoft SBS best Practices Tool) , turns out it doesn't really acknowledge the configuration that the server is set to at this facility. It recommends turning things off that should be left alone.
    I turned off "netsh int ip chimney" according to the recommendation of this software,now I get a blue screen from the server about every 3 days. It will reboot and gives an error that 1 services or 1 drivers have not been installed, check the error logs.
 
Well , I have realized that the error came from that IP Stack being disabled, Now can I RE-Enable it without any further problems?
 
 As soon as this is fixed i think that "MSBSBP" tool will get the axe.

You haven't disabled the IP stack, you've just disabled stateful offloading.
 
Are you sure the BSOD is coming from this change?  What error message is the BSOD giving you?  Have you tried analyzing the crashdump?

   I reneabled this feature last night,reason being as the server had crashed every night. I came in this morning and it was up and running, done its backup,seemed to be going smoothly. No crashes today.
  As far as the crash dump, can I view this without special software? I do have DSET installed on this server, should I run a report?
 
Even after the reboot last night I was still getting "At least one service or driver was not installed or started" on the log in screen. I noticed that the error log contained an entry "PERFLIB not accurate,no longer treated as trusted." I had installed updates last week that were critical according to microsoft update. The update apparently made this OS compatable with VISTA. There are no VISTA computers on this network.  SHould I remove this update?
 
I read a few errors that seemed to occur just before the server went down, they pertained to the CERC SATA 1.5/6ch controller card or the drives on F:.
   I got errors that started with 4 entries of "The device ,DEVICE\Scsi\cercsr61 did not respond in the time out period" event id #9.
   Then "Shadow copies of F: were aborted because of an I\O failure on vol F:.
   These errors were logged at 9:13:30 pm-9:14:39 pm. the same evening,and every evening that the server crashed (well,between 9:00 pm and 9:15 pm).
    The array is set to mirror, or shadow at default time of 7:00 am and 12:00 pm every day.
   They are the last entries for that day, the next entry always says " The computer was enexpectedly shut down", I would have a BSOD that morning.
   Entries for the BSOD would say that server restarted from BUGCHECK and give the same error codes every day.
 
I went to microsoft compatibility site to check for drivers and discovered that DELL CERC SATA 1.5\6ch controller card has a new driver listed for it. Is that something that I should consider upgrading?  Current one installed is 4.1.1.7040,dated May18, 2006,firmware version is 4.1-0(Bld7417).  I should mention that I have upgraded the storage on this CERC card to carry 2 raid 1 arrays(500gb and 160gb)the newest array being 500gb. The array is set to mirror, or shadow at default time of 7:00 am and 12:00 pm every day
 
I also read in the manual for the CERC card that there is a battery that needs to be conditioned a couple of times a year.I went into Open Manage Server Administrator and cannot find that option in there to accomplish this task. Do all these cards have this 'battery' option?
