Transfer raid disk in a 1 disk configuration
I have a poweredge r610. It has 1 SSD in a raid 1 configuration. I need to replace the SSD. What's the best way to clone the SSD to the new SSD and replace the device in the raid?

As you have RAID 1 you can insert new drives on second slot of RAID 1 which is empty. This will initiate rebuild of the disk. Once rebuild is complete RAID become online and you will be able to remove the first drive. What storage controller you have on the server.

I was actually wrong, it's a raid zero 0 with one disk. How would it go about replacing that drive now? The option to add a new virtual drive is disabled. It's a perc h710p mini

If it is RAID 0 then you need to take a back up, replace the existing drive with new drive and create a virtual disk. Once virtual disk is created with new disk you need to restore the back up. If you have Operating system installed on the drive you need to reinstall the operating system as well with new drive.

As in the past... you can try Acronis, Ghost or all products which creates an Image from your harddrive. If youre running Windows Server and have a USB disk attached you can create a normal full image Backup and can easily restore it by booting from the Windows CD and than select recovery.
Veeam Agent for Windows can do the same. This solution creates a bootable ISO to initiate the recovery.
After the recovery you can expand your windows volume to the new size.
