Windows Server 2019 Installation Trouble

Service Tag: deleted - Hello. I'm trying to update this machine with a new version of Windows Server. When I get to the set-up screen, a message pops up telling me that it can't find the correct drivers. I'm trying to install the OS with a bootable flash drive.

R210 II does not support Windows Server 2019 operating system. Windows 2012 is the latest windows operating system supported on R210 II. You can refer below link for details on operating system supported on various Dell PowerEdge servers.

https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_solutions_int/esuprt_solutions_int_solutions_resources/s-solution-resources_white-papers2_en-us.pdf

You are hitting this issue as 2019 is not a supported operating system for R201 II and it will not have required drivers to detect storage controller on the server.

What storage controller you have on the server? Did you created virtual disk on the controller?

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. It looks like you are using PERC H730 RAID Controller, 1GB NV Cache. Would you please refer to the link below?

While booting the server you can go to BIOS by pressing F2. On BIOS screen you will get an option for iDRAC Settings. There you can configure network for iDRAC also check iDRAC FW version. You can either use dedicated Mgmt Port (If server supports) or one of the LOM port to configure iDRAC network

what server and iDRAC FW you have on the server. Can you update to latest iDRAC FW and try. You can also connect OS ISO image using iDRAC and try the deployment using lifecycle controller.

I genuinely don't know. I am very new to this and didn't realize that this was going to be such a hassle compared to typical Windows installations. Where can I find this information? Thanks for the reply.

So, I've made it all the way to the "Insert OS Media" screen in the "Deploy OS" section. Unfortunately, I'm getting this message: "Media not found. Please Insert a media and retry." I've already verified that my flash drive is bootable and working. I'm wondering what the issue is now.
