Dell Open management installation

Question

I am trying to install the new Dell openmanagement software. I have downloaded the Dell ISO CD from dells website version 4.4 A00. As I need to install the Dell Array Manager software the software gets half way through the install but then comes up with an error:   Systemsmanagment: the command c:\progamfiles\dell\sysmgt\dataeng\bin\dcecfg32.exe command=adddareg prefix = de product= OMDataEngine enable=true returned unreconized return code - 1066598273   does anyone have any idea what this is and how to get round the problem. thanks for you help in advance.

I'm having the same problem on Windows 2000 Server with SP4. It is PE 2550.
I hope a Dell rep can respond this message.
I ran the RunPreReqChecks. It didn't return any missing prerequisites.
It's urgent.
Please help.

I hope the link comes through properly, but Dell's new Tech Support online tool is very helpful, and has a knowledge base document on this issue:

If the link does not go through, go to the Dell Support homepage, upper left hand corner is the new tool, enter 2550, Windows 2000 server, and then type Open Manage in the search string, the result was the third down on my page, just added 9/15. I dont think the 2550 is supported by the new versions of the software.
