Installing Operating System on Pover eadge 840

Question

My problem is as follows ..

Follow the instructions that you specify to install Axis: "Insert the Dell Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD into the DVD drive.

Restart your system and boot from the DVD.

The Boot Menu appears.

Select Dell Systems Build and Update Utility to go to the Dell Systems Build and Update Utility Home screen.

Click Server OS Instalation "

However, I do not get the option of "Click Server OS Instalation" but I get the computer does not see more than 512 of RAM and can not continue ..

Also make sure that OS Install Mode in the BIOS Setup (F2) is DISABLED/OFF.

How much memory do you currently have installed?

512mb is a required minimum to be installed. So you may have a failed dimm. Try reseating and if you have matching dimms you may try swapping.
