Obtaining Windows 2008 Standard FE?
Hello,
A client of ours has recently had their RAID array fail and we need to reinstall the OS. The system has an OEM CoA for Windows Server 2008 Standard FE (Foundation Edition), but we don't have any discs.
Considering that FE is OEM, it's probably like pulling teeth getting a copy of the software, but I'm curious if it's possible to do so.
Any feedback (and quickly) would be extremely helpful.
Thanks!

Contact Dell Support. It is unlikely that they still carry replacement media for it. OEM media will pop up from time to time on eBay, but Foundation isn't very common, so you may not find it there. MSDN is probably the only place you'll find media for it ... cost-wise, it would be cheaper to purchase a new OS.

Thanks for the response. As is generally the case for Dell server administrators looking for Microsoft Server software, I was living on a hope and a prayer, but I do appreciate the help.
