PE2650, Server CD 5.2, Windows Server 2008
We are testing the latest RC0 of Windows Server 2008. Ran into an odd bug that you all might want to kep aware of.
PowerEdge2650 (2x2.4ghz, 16G ram, 2x36G Raid1 & 1x300G Volume)
Using the 5.2 Install CD, I created a Dell partition but after creation Windows 2008 install hangs.
Removing the Dell Utility partition and Windows Server 2008 install will proceed smoothly.
Just figured you guys might want a heads up.

David,
did your PE2650 use a PERC 3Di controller. If so, how are you able to integrate the non-native PERC 3Di driver?

Hi David,
It might be related to the fact that OM support for Windows 2008 is only with 5.3 and up. So if using the 5.3 CD might have saved you the deletion of the Utility partition which sometimes can come in handy.
