POST error: E2022 on Poweredge 1950
I am having trouble with a poweredge 1950. The problem is that when I boot the system, the display says POST error: E2022. Also when it attempts to check everything, it comes up with the error saying: PCIe training error: embedded I/O bridge device 6. Anybody have any idea about what is causing this problem/how to fix it?

Hello mumpyphiog
E2022 is a general fault and doesn't tell us anything. PCIe training errors are caused when a PCI device is not able to negotiate properly with the PCI controller. You should have something listed with a bus/device/function error that will tell us which port the training error is occurring on. I think it is 0:6:0, but I could be wrong. 0:6:0 and 0:7:0 are the x8 connector on your left riser. I would suggest reseating whatever device is located in that slot. If the issue persists then remove that device and see if you still get the error. If the error still persists then reseat the riser and see if it stops.
Thanks
