Dear Support,

I have Dell PowerEdge 840 which i lost it's Open Manager CD,but I was able to download it and setup my Dell with it but I have one problem in the select ion Operating System, I found Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Services Pack 1/SP 2 both x86 and x64.Unfortunitely I dont have it now what I have it is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard and Enterprise also Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 both x86 and 64. Can I have the link for Open Manager System CD which contain one of this Operating System in the list.

If you want the installation utility for installing 2003 R2 and/or 2008 R2, you need to use this version:

www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats

For a smaller download and 2003 R2 support only (2008 R2 also requires the OS Support Pack):

www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats

For 2003 R2 to work with this utility, you MUST have SP2 on the disk - if you have only SP1, then use nLiteOS.com to integrate the Service Pack.

As per the installation instructions for the first link, I have combined all ISO file segments (OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso.001 and OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso.002) into an empty subdirectory on my local hard drive. tried each of the following Windows command separately to create the ISO file:

copy /b OM* OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso [Windows]
copy /b OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso.001+OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso.002 OM_6.5.0_SMTD_A01.iso [Windows]

However, I receive the following error message when attempting to boot from DVD:

Could not find Kernel Image:Linux:
boot:
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
