Slow network read HyperV VM, Broadcom, PE T440
Hi
I have a new PE T440. Hyper V Host and Guest VM both running Win Server 2019.
Issue is slow File Sharing/SMB network speed on Hyper V VM.
When I copy from the VM out, speed is good over 100MB /sec. On another workstation if I copy from the VMs network share it tops out around 28MB /sec. Network read/write to Host is also good at 100MB /sec.
Broadcom NIC. Which I found some old info on for Server 2012 dealing with VMQ and TCP offload. Which I’ve disabled all that on physical NIC and VM NIC and it made no difference. I’ve updated BIOS, NIC and RAID Firmware, all drivers up to date, Windows on both OS are up to date.
To clarify, with my test workstation. If I initiate the transfer from the VM to the workstation it’s 100MB /sec. If I initiate the transfer at workstation (same source and destination) it’s only 28MB /sec.
Any more ideas?
Thanks

Think I fixed my issue, I ran:
Disable-NetAdapterRsc *
on the VM and all seems well now. For anyone else with this issue
