SUU updates erroring out

I've run the latest SUU on a PowerEdge T610 and when I try to install any of the updates I get the message

"An error occurred during the updates. Please refer to the support log and update log files located in C:\dell\suu for more information. Message Details: Incorrect Function".

I rebooted the server but that didn't help, same error. I've tried looking at the log files in C:\dell\suu but I don't get any clue there as to what the problem is.

Any ideas on what to do next and how to fix the problem so I can install the updates?
