Windows 2003 SP1 Blue Screen BSOD
Hi,
First posting..
Figured out why my 2850 with dual xeons BSOD'ed from SP1... And why it was not nearly as fast as I expected... The driver files for the LSI Integrated SCSI are not compatible with the ones that default from 2k3.../OR Open Manage Driver installation!
Get the new ones from http://ftp.us.dell.com/scsi-non-raid/MD2K3A00.exe
Run Prior to SP1 and everything works.... Wonderfully! (So Far!)...
F6 reg fix.... Not needed.... Although on the first application of it the system stopped blue screening before booting... it just took a few minutes before dying...
RegPrep.... Did nothing...
The registry changes reflected below stopped MOST blue screening... but the new drivers brought life out of a box I was going to return....
