That is just an internal name and is normal in ScaleIO so you can ignore it.
If you see below I created a 16GB volume in the Web Client and mapped it all to the SDC's. Then in vCenter you can see the same volume has been mounted to the ESX cluster. Notice the device identifier is the same, i.e. eui.4c888f8...
Hi smostefai esxcli system module parameters set -m scini -p "IoctlIniGuidStr= IoctlMdmIPStr=" about this command, could you tell me how to get the GUID, thanks.
