ScaleIO and VMWare Update Automation

Hello all,

I am looking into a method of automating the process of placing a SVM into maintenance mode, and then bringing it out of maintenance mode to allow the VMWare ESXi host to be patched using Update Manager.  The end-goal is to setup an automated patch window for all hosts and have Update Manager automatically put each SVM into and out of maintenance as it updates the associated host.

Has anyone else been able to perform this?
