Space Reclaim from ScaleIO Thin Volumes using ESXi UNMAP

We have thin volumes on ScaleIO .Every time we delete a VM, reduce space from Apps end  the space does not get reclaim .I had tried running ESXi unmap command on scaleIO luns but I get error "device backing volume do not support UNMAP" .

Is there any way we can reclaim space on ScaleIO volumes if we delete a VM or reduce space consumption from Apps end on thin Volumes
