What sds deploy options causing module md_mod to load into SVM?

We're testing VxFlex 2.6.1.1 deployment on VMware infrastructure and bumped into a problem. Some SDS SVMs are added with md_mod support in kernel and we don't know why. We're using physical RDM for SDS devices, but at some point md_mod takes control over /dev/sd* devices, creates md* devices and it leads to data corruption. And some SDS do have md_mod loaded in kernel, other don't, we can't figure out why. What options at SDS deployment stage enable md_mod support at SVM kernel level, please advice?
