AIX 5.3 cannot detect Clariion disk after PowerPath is removed

Hi,
On my AIX 5.3 server, with one lun assigned from CX600, it sees the disk initially. But, after I remove PowerPath, AIX no longer sees the disk even after reboot. Any idea?

No it doesn't show. It doesn't even pickup any new luns that are assigned to it.

can you try changing failover mode to 0 since you do not have failover software now. Also make sure auto-traspass on the luns is disabled.
