booting solaris 10 from clariion

Question

I am working on a sp replacemen for a clariion.Not being familiar with booting solaris 10 from san I defered to the admin.He states tha powerpath cannot be loaded on the host because its booting from the san.Now I have booted lots of windows from san with powerpath ,am I missing something here?

PowerPath can be installed on a Solaris host that is booting from a CLARiiON. There are sections devoted to this in both the "EMC host connectivity guide for Solaris" and also the "PowerPath installation and configuration guide"
