Error 1720 when installing PowerPath 4.6.1 on Windows 2003 R2

Hi SAN gurus,

I encounter error 1720 when installing PowerPath 4.6.1 on Windows 2003 R2 (64bit).
The detail error message is:
Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

The PowerPath that I use also for 64bit (EMCPP.W2003_X64.4.6.1.xxxxx)

Need your immediate valuable advise on this question. Thx very much

SanGuy

Hi ...

The EMC recommend to install this software locally (by making sure all the installation software are in the local folder) instead of install it from share folder/other source. But this didn't work and problem still persist.

I have managed to rectified the installation issue by simply using other software, it seems the earlier software is corrupted, so make sure you try with several software to make sure no corrupted software occur. Thx all..
cheers..
