migrating from aix 5.1 to 5.2 with powerpath

Question

When migrating from Aix 5.1 to 5.2 with powerpath do you need to un-install powerpath and all emc odm devices? Or can I just un-install powerpath and then add new emc odm devices to any excising ones Also if i need to re-install powerpath do i need to provide the license code again.

If you are just upgrade from 5.1 to 5.2 just make sure your on a version of PP that is supported with 5.2. If you are migrating from one storage platform to another than yes, uninstall PP and emc odm and reinstall
