Parse output of: powermt.exe display dev=all
[1st post here, please let me know if something is off]
I have a bunch of servers with clariion and symmetrix connections.
Would like to make an inventory, and one of the things I want to capture is powermt output. I need to convert the powermt output into database records.
I was a bit saddened to see that powermt has no option to create XML output (Solutions Enabler CLI tools do that nicely).
Has anyone created a parser for powermt output?
My enviro is Windows and I'm looking to use PowerShell as the scripting language, SQL as the database, but a scripting language is a scripting language and database is a database - I'll take any samples that folks are willing to share...
