Power path and Navisphere Agent

Hi I am new to storgae . We have a Clarrion and do we need to install both Powerpath and Navisphere agent on our HP Unix server ? Rgds / Jg

Yes. You must install powerpath. Powerpath is a software (Fully Licensed) which balances I/O across all the available paths to the LUN increasing the through put of the server.
Naviagent is a agent on the server which communicates with the Clariions for various purposes.
