PowerPath installation failed in linux

Question

Hi, I failed to install powerpath on my linux: > rpm -ivh EMCpower.LINUX-5.1.0-194.rhel5.x86_64.rpm Preparing...                ########################################### [100%] Expecting RedHat RHEL5 system. Found RedHat RHEL5.6 system. error: %pre(EMCpower.LINUX-5.1.0-194.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 error:   install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping EMCpower.LINUX-5.1.0-194 [root@hulx048 emcpowerpath]# uname  -a Linux hulx048 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen #1 SMP Tue May 31 13:35:45 EDT 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Any idea? you should be able to download it yourself, see if you can follow this path: Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads P-R > PowerPath for Linux

for RedHat 5.6 you will need to use PowerPath 5.5 or 5.6
