Powerpath upgrade for SLES10SP2 / RHEL5.2

Hi,

is there already a release date for a PowerPath version supporting the above mentioned Linuxes?
We're quite depending on these updates and hacking around to make the old kernels and powerpath modules work with the new distro versions is not the best way to keep systems running :)

Regards,
Thorsten

PP5.3 is expected in Q4 this year according to the last update that we received.

Hi there,

I would like to confirm that PowerPath 5.1 SP2 does not support RHEL5.2 as follows:

Binary DVD (Server Core/Cluster/Cluster Storage/Virtualization) 3,442 MB with md5 checksum of 5390f9f703e083cf1470fb438ea49082
from the link:
http://www.redhat.com/apps/download/

Download Software
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 for 32-bit x86)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 for 32-bit x86) Beta
RHEL Supplementary (v. 5 for 32-bit x86)
RHEL Supplementary (v. 5 for 32-bit x86) Beta
RHEL Virtualization (v. 5 for 32-bit x86)

It reads v.5 and not v.5.2, doesn't it?

Thanks so much.

Cheers,

Jason

PowerPath 5.1 SP 2 for Linux supports the following OS versions: SLES 10 SP2, SLES 9 SP4 and RHEL 5 U2.

Back when the original question was asked (in June) this release (5.1 SP2) was not scheduled.

i would say V.5 does not clearly indicate V.5.1 or V.5.2..
