RHEL4 U5
Will we need a new PowerPath to support RHEL 4 U5? If so, when can we expect it to be released?
We tested PP 5.0 build 157 with U5 and it did not work for us.

I've been running PP 5.0 b157 on RHEL4U4 without problems.
I didn't go for 4.51 so I wouldn't have to upgrade PP when moving to Update 5 (fixing EXT3 ReadOnly on SAN bug).....
If so required, we need the PowerPath update soon.......

If so, the Celerra signature (near the end of the volume) may have been left behind, which will cause PowerPath to "hide" the volume when it loads.
This shouldn't occur with PPath v4.6 and above, but you never know...
See knowledgebase article emc62657 for more details.

EMC powermt for PowerPath (c) Version 5.0.0 (build 157)

so that's no real option...
we just need a PowerPath that works with the latest RHEL version.
