Upgrade HBA driver when Powerpath is installed

Question

All, I want to upgrade HBA on 100 Windows box which has PP already installed on it. As i know that the PP driver sits on top of HBA driver, so is it possible to upgrade the HBA driver without uninstalling the PP?. If yes please let me know as these are production machines which doesnot like downtime. Blesses & wishes - HDUD

I have done this successfully before, but the driver upgrade will require a reboot so you probably can't avoid the outages.

No problem there and as previously stated you need to do this planned, since a reboot is indeed needed.You want to consider upgrading the BIOS of the HBAs as well in one big sweep.
