Veritas DMP and Windows 2003

Question

We have Installed Veritas DMP (Veritas Storage Foundation Suite 4.2) on Windows 2003 Server. Everything works fine on 1 path and 2 HBA.

The Moment I enable 2 Path on both HBA. Rebooting of Server take almost 6 Hours. I know this is a problem with veritas, if anyone encounter this problem please help me on the same.

what storage array are you connecting to ? if its Clariion make sure Failover mode is set to 2.

Whats EMC Docs says, we have to set failover mode as 1 with Veritas DMP and Windows 2003.I even tried Failover mode 2 its not workiing either.

yep...you were right ..looks like on windows it's 1 and it's 2 on Solaris. Can you specify the multipathing mode in Veritas DMP ? It should be Active/Passive for Clariion and Active/Active for DMX.
