Windows 2000 and Powerpath 4.5.0 Fix 1
Upgraded drivers and firmware for an Emulex LP9802-E to firmware 1.91a5 driver to Storport 2.43.a1. upgraded to Navi 6.22 and Powerpath to 4.5.0 Fix 1 during the Powerpath upgrade I was prompted for the path to the emcpclass.sys driver (60 times). This number also corresponds to the number of disks seen in the system device manager for disks.
The questions are: Should I be prompted for this driver, if so I would of thought at the most I would be prompted for it once for each HBA in the system which is 4 hba's. I have dual fabrics with two HBA's in each, each HBA zone has three SP ports in it (Sancopy running). Thus, giving me 12 paths to every LUN associated with the system 5 LUN's total.
I don't remember seeing all these diks in system manager before and I never have had to giv the path to the install.
Have I done something wrong, missed a step, or what?
Thanks
Bing

I noticed I incorectly stated the driver version as 2.43a1, it should read 2.40a3.
Thanks
