705N and Microsoft Security Update KB885250

This is a relatively old issue but I can't find anything here about it.  Microsoft Security Update KB885250 causes issues on clients trying to access our PV705N.  The error is:
 
               The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.
 
What says Dell on how to deal with this?

Dell has heard of this problem before, and didn't provide a work around for it. However an updated version of the 885250 patch is included with XP SP2 (if using XP), and that seems to work fine with the PV 705. I would recommend using SP2 if possible. Otherwise I would remove the patch. As far as I know, SNAP didn't provide a patch for this problem either.

Microsoft has a Hotfix for networks that were broken by KB885250. You need to contact MS support and ask for Hotfix 895900.
