775N and Windows Storage Server 2003?

Well just to sum up this thread.  It is available now.  I placed an order Monday for a new 775 with 2003 on it.  Supposed to ship in 2 weeks or so.

The update for existing customers will ship probably before the end of the year.  Pricing for this update hasn't been posted yet.  I do believe that this will require a complete reimage of the appliance.

Will the Windows Storage Server 2003 update be available for the PowerVault 715N ?  Can I be notified about pricing and availability?

Dell has no plans to produce a version of Windows Storage Server 2003 for the PV 715.  Currently it can be purchased with the  PV 745 and the PV 775.

Here in Hongkong we were able to get the upgrade pack for less than US$1,000 per server.

Tried on 2 of our 775N, work fine. It will wipe out your system disk C: for reinstallation, and gone with it your system state information (incl. share information). However the data disk was preserved, i.e. directories, files, ACLs were all OK.

ActiveArchives will be destoryed too, but the stubs of snapshots were left in ActiveArchives folder, I just wonder if it is safe to remove them.
